Timberline Knolls

ProActive Kids Foundation

 

ProActiveKids is a not-for-profit foundation.  With its mission of reversing the obesity trend one family at a time, the Foundation has created an innovative and personal life experience to be offered at no charge to children AGES 9-14 who are considered obese or at risk.  A respected group of health care, education, nutritional and athletic leaders have come together to create this child-centered, life-changing program.  For more information about ProActiveKids Foundation, visit proactivekids.org

 

 

In collaboration with Meier Clinics, Turn-About Ranch has developed a Christian Track to enhance the quality of their program for teenagers with behavioral and mental health issues.  At Turn-About Ranch, therapy, academics and hard work come together to impart lasting and powerful change in teens. Located on a working cattle ranch, the program has students take concepts like leadership, teamwork, accountability and responsibility and put them into practice in a real-world environment.

Family Bridges

Meier Clinics Foundation was awarded a $2,500,000 grant in 2011 (renewable for 3 years) through the United States Department of Health and Human Services, Administration for Children and Families.  Meier Clinics, in partnership with multiple faith-based organizations in the Chicagoland area, is reaching out to Cook, DuPage, Will, Lake, McHenry, and Kane counties to build healthy marriages, strong families, and thriving communities.  Family Bridges offers a variety of services such as workshops designed specifically for couples and families, singles, and students, as well as low-cost relationship assessments for couples who are married or planning to marry.  For more information about the Family Bridges program, please call 877-41BRIDGE or visit them at: www.familybridgeschicago.org.
