Our History
Meier Clinics of Northbrook (formerly Deerfield) was established in the mid 1990's so that those living in northern Illinois and Wisconsin could now receive the same great Christian counseling they had been traveling to Wheaton for over the years. Our convenient location is a great attraction to our clients since it is easily accessible from the tollway.
Our Services
The Northbrook clinic provides outpatient counseling services to individuals, couples, and families. We work with a wide age range of clients, adolescents through geriatrics. Our highly trained and compassionate staff offer weekday and evening hours and accept many insurance plans. Counseling is available in English and Cantonese. We have psychologists who are trained to not only provide counseling but to administer psychological testing that may be important for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. We also work closely with the Meier Clinics' psychiatrists at the Wheaton and Chicago offices when additional diagnoses or medication management is indicated for effective care. Some staff are also available to provide workshops on parenting and various mental health issues such as depression, self-injury behavior, and adolescents' concerns.
